I’m in Melbourne, FL with The Empire Dragon Boat Team as they attend paddle camp. My first day has been great and I feel Jen so deeply as the boat races across the water.

I found this necklace in Jen’s jewelry box and put her wedding rings on it. Feels good to have these rings near my heart.

Two Sundays ago my nephews took part in a head-shaving event that raised funds for St. Baldrick’s, a non-profit organization committed to funding research to find a cure for children’s cancer. Sam, Ben, Noah and 10 of their friends shaved pulled in over $4,500!!!! I’m so proud of all of them!!

In fact, it was the first place we went to as a couple in NYC. I don’t know why I chose this place but I felt that I needed to face something and it was in the restaurant.
I ordered a salad, spaghetti with marinara and a glass of cabernet, that’s what Jen always had. The empty chair across the table, the conversations of couples all around me, the place setting the busboy cleared without knowing it was Jen’s…not sure if I accomplished anything or not.
